Venture · Business Funding

I founded Goldspur Capital.

Because I have been the guy on the other end of that phone call — profitable on paper, empty in the account, and being sold the most expensive money in the room by someone who called it a favor.

Goldspur Capital is an independent small-business funding marketplace based in St. George, Utah, serving business owners nationwide. I am its founder. It is not a bank and not a direct lender — we take one application, shop it across a network of lending partners through ROK Financial, and put the offers in front of you with the total cost stated in dollars.

Why I built it

I built companies, lost them twice, and rebuilt with systems. Somewhere in the middle of that I learned what most owners learn too late: the cost of capital is where good businesses quietly die. A cash advance stacked on a cash advance does not read like a mistake on the day you sign it. It reads like relief.

Nobody explains business money honestly, because the confusion is where the margin lives.

So Goldspur exists to do the unglamorous thing — show the arithmetic. If a line of credit beats the advance you called about, we say so out loud, in dollars, on the page.

How we are paid, stated plainly

Business owners never pay us. We are compensated by the lender when a transaction funds. That creates one obvious conflict of interest — some products pay more than others — so here is our answer to it: we tell you the cheaper product even when it earns us less, and we publish the math so you can check us.

What we will not do

  • We will not stack a second advance on top of an existing one to make a commission.
  • We will not quote a rate without the total dollar cost beside it.
  • We will not tell you a decline means your business is unfundable. Usually it means one line of your file missed one lender's box.
  • We will not charge you an upfront fee. Nobody legitimate does.

We publish the data instead of marketing claims

The federal government releases every approved SBA loan. Almost nobody bothers to aggregate it, so we did — 388,338 7(a) approvals and 117,983 504 approvals — and published it free, by state, industry and lender. For fiscal year 2025 that file shows 78,078 7(a) approvals totalling $37.3 billion, with a median loan of $166,850. (Source: SBA FOIA data, file as of June 30, 2026. Aggregated approvals only — never an offer, and no borrower is ever identified.)

You can read the whole thing at the Goldspur SBA data library.

My other ventures

Goldspur sits alongside Rooster AI Agents, my AI marketing and sales-system agency, the Rooster creator app, and my work as Chief Marketing Officer of The Bridge Health Recovery Center. Same thread runs through all of them: build the system, then tell people the truth about how it works.

Andrew Smart ($MART) is the founder of Goldspur Capital and Rooster AI Agents, and CMO of The Bridge Health Recovery Center. Former University of Utah Division I football player. Built it, lost it twice, rebuilt it with systems.

Goldspur Capital is not a bank or a direct lender. It is an independent funding marketplace and referral partner; applications are placed with ROK Financial and its network of lending partners. Nothing on this page is an offer of credit, a rate quote, or a guarantee of approval.

Need Capital

See what your business actually qualifies for.

One application, shopped across a lender network — with the total cost in dollars, not percentages you have to decode.

Standard message rates apply. Nothing is sent to a lender without your OK, there is no hard credit pull to see options, and we never charge you a fee.
